M uch of what is typically shown here on theminimaleblogger.com stems from a deeply personal resonance with beautiful clothes, and more recently, an appreciation for local design made in mind for the audacious minimalist – a term coined by yours truly in an attempt to elucidate repeating certain statement pieces. While blogging has always remained a passion project for this unassuming minimalist, even I’ve become intrigued by the idea of consistently showcasing new outfits (solely acquired for the purpose of creating new content).
While the idea is largely to benefit readers in need of accessible content (with links to shop certain featured pieces), it must be stressed that in an earnest bid to stay true to my approach to fashion, specifically in relation to my personal style, it remains on hold for now. Eventually, I do think there’ll come a time where a balance of featured content amidst personal outfits can exist; in the interim, I do hope you’ll enjoy the continued amalgam of well-loved and new pieces shared on theminimaleblogger.com
As for today’s content, there are several exciting bits to share. You may have noticed a shift in the photographic quality of today’s post, and while I won’t spend too much time gushing over the team who brought these images to life, I’ve linked their beautifully curated Instagram HERE, and website, HERE. The dynamic duo that is Half & Halve were truly able to capture the mood I wanted for this post, and I couldn’t be prouder to share these images with you all.
In this look I’m wearing a new favorite by South African design house, Lunah – which you will have seen in my previous post too (see that HERE). The Nabilah Shirt with its updated classic sleeve detail feels all the more modern when paired with cropped trousers and ankle boots; a pairing which is new to me, but perhaps a style I could play around with more as winter subdues itself to warmer Spring days. Accessories are personally always an afterthought, which is why statement earrings are all the more justified. I’ve discussed this particular pair in a previous post, and I do think they’re the most versatile for updating classic looks.
