— Which Fashion Island stores are worth YOUR money?
For the last five years, Fashion Island has been the Mecca for the fashion industry.
The island is home to brands like Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein and Chanel, among others.
Now the island is in the news again after a video surfaced showing a woman being verbally assaulted in the store.
According to the Connecticut State Police, a woman walked into the Fashion Island store in Stamford on Sunday evening and was repeatedly verbally attacked by the employee who works there.
The woman then left the store and called the police.
The video shows the woman, who was wearing a Chanel necklace, walking into the store wearing a white shirt, jeans, a jacket and black shoes.
She was followed by two men, one wearing a black T-shirt and the other wearing a brown jacket.
The men then grabbed the woman’s purse and threw it on the floor.
Police say the women who assaulted the employee have been charged with assault, malicious destruction of property and harassment.
“We are very concerned about this, this kind of behavior, and we are going to be taking a look at it,” said State Police Lt.
The woman was released from the hospital.
